CCAP (Childcare Assistance Program)

Dear St. Agatha PreK Families:
This year, St. Agatha is directing families to the Child Care Assistance Portal (CCAP) to determine eligibility for financial assistance for their PreK children enrolled at St. Agatha. If you qualify, this will enable you to have additional resources for funding tuition at St. Agatha. The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides support to help families pay for child care. The Division of Child Care is responsible for all child care provider support and The Division of Family Support helps clients apply for the program.
CCAP applications can be submitted by phone at (855) 306-8959 or online at kynect.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements in 922 KAR 2:160. An applicant can determine if they are eligible by using the Prescreening Tool on the website.
Once approved for CCAP, the family and the school will receive a letter from the state explaining the coverage. St. Agatha will then adjust the students FACTS account according to the amounts committed to be paid by the state. If the student loses coverage during the year, then the FACTS account will be adjusted to reflect the additional amount due by the family.
I am attaching a tip sheet with further information. In addition, you will need the following information for your application:
St. Agatha License # L359454
